Catching the drift
LEGENDARY soul band The Drifters bring almost 60 years of music to Cheltenham Town Hall for a gold-plated concert.
The Masquerade Tour features the latest line-up of this long-running band, still singing the songs that made their name back in the '50s and '60s.
Their UK tour comes fresh from the successful gold-selling release of the recent album Up On The Roof.
Now in their 59th year, The Drifters have seen massive chart success on both sides of the Atlantic and across the world, selling more than 114 million albums and 214 million singles, amassing a vast catalogue of hits.

As well as new material, the new album includes many of their greatest hits, including Under The Boardwalk, Saturday Night At The Movies and Kissin' in The Back Row.
The gig next Tuesday will be performed along similar lines, with some of the new songs interspersed with the much-loved back catalogue.
Band member Michael Williams said: "The Drifters' music is very uplifting and upbeat and many people come to the shows night after night for that real feel-good factor.
"The idea of the Masquerade Tour is that it is just one big party from start to finish so we are hoping that everyone will get on their dancing shoes.
"There are also some real surprises in the set alongside the old favourites."
Tickets cost £25 from 0844 576 2210.
