Chance to remember loved ones at Christmas star services
LOST loved ones will be remembered fondly at a touching service next weekend.
On Sunday, December 2, a Star to Remember service is being held at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, in Great Western Road, Gloucester.
The following Sunday, December 9, another service will be held in Cheltenham, at St Luke's Church.
It is organised by the Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (Linc) charity and gives people the chance to write the name of a loved one on a silver star which is then hung from a Christmas tree in their memory.
The charity supports patients and their families affected by leukaemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers. The service in Gloucester runs from 3pm to 3.45pm and it's the same timings for the Cheltenham service. Refreshments have been donated by Asda in Cheltenham too.
