Charity aims to start new group
VOLUNTEERS are being urged to help form a new fundraising group in Cirencester.
Marie Curie Cancer Care plans to launch a new branch in the town. It will hold an information evening from 4.30pm to 5.30pm on September 12, at the Cirencester Fire Station community room.
Gloucestershire, Hereford and Worcester community fundraiser Catherine Butt said: "The charity is urging local people to come forward and join the group, getting involved with fundraising events and raising awareness of the charity in the area."
