Charity goes high fashion
CUSTOMISED charity shop clothes showcased students' textile talent when they hit the catwalk at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College.
The garments grabbed from Stroud's Sue Ryder store were transformed into high fashion by the teenagers, who also modelled their creations.
The audience at the show at the Stroud campus saw first original evening wear.
They then watched as the students strutted their stuff in the made-over designs.

College tutor Kayleigh Ross said Sue Ryder's important role in the community was highlighted by the fundraiser.
She said: "This charity does immensely important work.
"It was a fantastic opportunity to work alongside them on this project."
Sue Ryder's Tracey Davis said: "The students took some truly awful items which we would only have got pence for and turned them into beautiful creations.
"The students were fabulous and their enthusiasm tremendous."
