Charlie, 15, loses her locks for charity
TEENAGER Charlie Hart has done what many of her peers would not consider in order to raise funds for charity.
The 15-year-old has shaved her hair off to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
The pupil, from All Saints' Academy in Cheltenham, bravely had her head shaved at the school and in front of her classmates.
And even her headmaster Peter Kingham took a turn to shave off her locks.

Charlie had hoped to raise £100 for charity, but surpassed her expectations and raised £400 for the cause. She said: "I wanted to do something help stop people from losing the ones they love to heart disease.
"I was nervous about shaving my hair off, but it's worth it to raise money for a great cause."
Rachel Davis, fundraising manager for British Heart Foundation (BHF) in Gloucestershire thanked Charlie for organising the event.
She said: "It is a really brave thing for a young woman to do, especially as the weather is turning colder.
"Fundraising events like this raise vital funds that help continue the BHF's life-saving and life-changing work."

“What an inspiration to other youngsters - welll done Charlie.
This took some guts in a world where appearance is everything - especially to teenage girls, but the money that Charlie has raised by doing this will go to help so many other people - it's fantastic.”
