Cheeky chaps help ladies party in aid of rugby club
IT was a case of ladies only at The Yew Tree when boys in the buff provided the entertainment.
Members of the Bredon Star rugby team boosted their funds during the event, in Conderton, near Tewkesbury.
The pub sponsors the team and was happy to help it swell its coffers. The lads acted as butlers for the evening, wearing nothing more than aprons, bow ties and cuffs.
All tips went to the club and a raffle also raised funds.
Landlord Dale Allison got into the spirit of the evening by wearing a white uniform similar to the one worn by Richard Gere in the film Officer And A Gentleman.
He said: "It was a fantastic event. Unsurprisingly, we were fully booked well in advance and those ladies who arrived on the night were ready to party.
"The rugby lads really got into the spirit of the occasion and everyone had enormous fun and a great laugh."
Dale designed the specials menu to fit the occasion too, with a selection of tantalising dishes and cocktails.
He added: "The event was so successful that we will try to persuade the boys to come back."
