A company owned by former Cheltenham racecourse chairman Lord Vestey has been accused of supplying beef laced with horse meat to one of the UK's biggest catering firms.

Sodexo, which has a base in Swindon, named Vestey Foods as the firm which supplied beef containing more than one per cent horse meat after previously refusing to identify the company.
