Cheltenham Town: Carter pens new Robins deal
Cheltenham Town midfielder Darren Carter has signed a contract extension to the end of the season.
The former Birmingham City and West Brom man missed the trip to Morecambe with an ankle injury and he will also miss tonight's home match against Rochdale.
Boss Mark Yates had been hoping to secure him on an 18-month deal, but Carter has committed himself until the summer.
The 29-year-old has scored five goals in 21 League Two starts for the Robins so far and his decision to stay is a welcome lift for boss Yates, who added Manchester United youngster Luke McCullough to his ranks on loan earlier today.
