Cheltenham Town: Left-back Billy Jones leaves by mutual consent
Left-back Billy Jones has left Cheltenham Town by mutual consent.
Jones arrived from Exeter City in the summer of 2012 and was last season's leading assist maker with 13.
The 30-year-old requested a loan move after falling down the pecking order behind Craig Braham-Barrett and Sido Jombati for the left-back berth.
Former Crewe, Leyton Orient and Kidderminster Harriers defender Jones started 39 of Cheltenham Town's 46 League Two games last season.
