"We know we need to crack on now and get as many points as we can and push on up the League."
Elliott is a doubt for Saturday's home match against AFC Wimbledon after picking up a knock in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Fleetwood Town.
If the 34-year-old fails to make it, Manchester United loan youngster Luke McCullough will come in alongside Hector.
