Harrison joins fellow permanent signing Jason Taylor and loans Luke McCullough, Michael Hector and Paul Benson at the Abbey Business Stadium, with Luke Rooney set to follow from Swindon on loan as part of a deal that will see Marlon Pack move to the County Ground.

He spent the early part of his career in non-League football before earning a move to Stevenage in 2011.
Boss Mark Yates said: "We like Byron and we have found out in the past to our detriment all about his strength and power.
"He is quick, strong and we had an offer accepted on Monday or Tuesday of this week, but it depended on Wimbledon getting another striker in, which happened very late."
Harrison scored twice against Cheltenham for Stevenage in a 4-0 win in February 2011 and Yates has been keen on him ever since.

“well said alchelt, many a true word spoke in jest! can't beleive all the comings & goings.no doubting MY ability to spot a player, but the cynic in me wonders whether he'll ever know his best team, formation & tactics.still i'm excited to see what happens.itsinteresting to think of the arguements & politics that go on behind the scenes.did bennett voice an opinion that MY did'nt like?,so h was told to go.packs not a big miss,he's a shadow of the player he was for most oflast season.it'll be nice to see some new faces, benson will be forgiven for not really wanting tp come here,if he gets a few goals.here's hoping the gamble comes off.go on MY ,make a name for yourself.onwards and upwards!”

“I never had M Y down as much of a gambling man, however in letting Bennet and Pack leave and bringing in so many new faces this strikes me as a bold gamble.
Pack leaving is the biggest surprise,no matter what others say he is still the focal point of our midfield so it will be interesting how M Y changes things,Carter is the obvious replacement in this position but he regularly pulls him off so not sure.
To many changes too soon will cause too many problems so I dont expect to see too many starting changes this week ,my only dissapointment was that nobody from the Cheltenham League came in for Kaid Mohamed...but perfectly understandable there better talent already playing in that league:-)”
