ROBINS fans will be treated to one of England's unofficial World Cup songs at Whaddon Road this afternoon.

'Let's hear it England' features a dream XI of leading TV commentators from Sky, BBC, ITV and ESPN, together with the Cheltenham-based Cotswold Male Voice Choir, who will perform on the pitch.

The choir have been entertaining audiences for more than 60 years.

Martin Tyler, Clive Tyldesley and Guy Mowbray are among the voices behind the big matches who have lent their dulcet tones to the song.

It has been composed by Steve Banyard, who is a lead commentator on the international feed of the Premier League that gets distributed to over 200 countries all around the world.

Banyard is hopeful Let's Hear it England can emulate the success of past hits Three Lions and World in Motion.

"The song was played at Old Trafford recently and the fans were singing along, so we are hopeful it can capture the imagination this summer," Banyard said.

"We have the top commentators from all the different channels." The song can be downloaded from iTunes, Tesco, Amazon and Play, with proceeds going to support the Prince's Trust.

The youth charity gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation.

It works with 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.
