DAGENHAM and Redbridge are well-placed to improve upon last season's finish of 19th.

John Still's men lie 16th and the League Two table is so tight they are only eight points off the play-off positions.

Former Yeovil Town forward Sam Williams has scored eight times for the Daggers this season, but he has failed to find the net in his last six appearances.

Dagenham drew 0-0 at relegation-threatened Plymouth Argyle in their last outing after back-to-back defeats by Wycombe Wanderers and Morecambe.

One familiar face in the their line-up at the Victoria Stadium tomorrow will be winger Medy Elito, who spent two spells on loan at Cheltenham in 2009/10 and 2010/11, scoring three times including a spectacular strike in the memorable 6-5 victory at Burton Albion.

Mark Yates picked up his first win as Cheltenham manager at Dagenham in December 2009 and it was a happy hunting ground for the Robins again last season, when they cruised to a 5-0 win.

The Daggers had goalkeeper Chris Lewington sent off late in the first half that day, but Cheltenham were already 2-0 up and firmly on course for a convincing victory by then.

The goals came from Luke Summerfield, Steve Elliott, Kaid Mohamed, Jimmy Spencer and an own goal from Michael Spillane, who is now at Southend United.

Cheltenham have not lost to Dagenham in five previous Football League meetings, winning four and drawing once.
