Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates speaks to the media ahead of the trip to Barnet:

Marlon Pack has arrived at the training ground today and he is a good player. He will give us competition in the midfield area. I have heard people have been saying we have enough midfielders, but you can never have enough and he will be a good asset for us.

It helps the whole squad that we have got off to a pleasing start and every manager wants to bring players in when things are going well, not when things are going wrong.

I have seen Marlon play and he is mobile, strong and can head it. He can tackle and pass it too, so he adds more to the squad. I have decisions to make on my team and I will do what I think is best for us to go to Barnet and get three points. Marlon will be a big player for us.

We are four games in and you can't take into consideration league positions at the moment. Torquay have had an unbelievable start, but for anyone and couple of wins and you are right up there.

Barnet are a good team with a good manager and it will be a tough test. Until at least 10 games have been played, you can start to see where teams are going to aspire to be.

Martin Riley won't be fit for this weekend, but he is progressing well. It's a strange one as he was back in training last week and he is desperate to be back among the boys. Ian Weston and myself we both convinced he was ready to play against Burton, but it wasn't to be. He will now go through a pretty intensive couple of weeks and hopefully we will see him back in three weeks' time. Keith Lowe can play at centre-back and he is adaptable, which is why I signed him. We have no other injury worries.

Burton are a decent team and they came with a gameplan last week. It worked for 79 minutes and we huffed and puffed. I'd like to ask the fans to back us when we are not at our best because the boys will respond and they did. We showed our character and that we can come from behind and my players showed they can solve problems, which I was delighted with.

We have been out watching games this week and carrying on the good work on the training ground. We have had a good week and we will prepare properly for Barnet.
