Cheltenham Town video: Boos are music to McGlashan's ears
JERMAINE McGlashan admits the stick he has been receiving from opposition fans is only making him more determined to shine for Cheltenham Town.
The tricky right winger has made a blistering start to his first full season at the club, scoring a spectacular goal in the 2-0 home success against Dagenham and tormenting defenders in every game.

He has become the target of tirades of abuse from supporters and often accused of falling over a little too easily, but McGlashan believes the main cause of the frustration from the terraces is that he is a constant threat.

"If fans think it's going to help to boo me, it doesn't because I like it and thrive on it," McGlashan said.
"It won't put me off and I've got stick at Torquay, Wycombe and even at Aldershot towards the end, but that's football and it doesn't make a difference if they cheer or boo me, I have a job to do for Cheltenham.
"Watching football growing up, it was always the players who can hurt teams that tended to be booed and it makes me want to score more.
"I had the last laugh at Torquay and the best way to answer them is by sticking the ball in the back of the net."
As well as creating a stir in the stands, McGlashan has also been singled out for special treatment by opposition managers.
He often finds himself up against two or three defenders and he said he must learn to use that to Cheltenham's advantage.
"I expected to be double teamed this season and it means I have got to mix things up a bit," he said.
"I think I was a victim from the referee at Wycombe and he criticised me for going down too easily, but if he thought I was diving he would have booked me.
"I was double teamed and that will happen if teams are wary – we use that strategy too if other teams have a dangerous winger.
"I might have to come inside and see who else is in space and that's not always a bad thing.
"Marlon (Pack) or Darren (Carter) will always be available, or Sido (Jombati) on the overlap."
McGlashan will be in direct opposition to one of his closest friends in football when Cheltenham take on Southend United tomorrow (3pm).
Anthony Straker left Aldershot to join the Blues during the summer and he has already been taunting his former team mate ahead of their first duel.
"There has been banter all week, but three points for us is the main thing tomorrow," McGlashan said.
"I want to get at him and make him want to forget me, but we know each other inside out and he reckons he'll have me in his pocket.
"I like that and I am looking forward to it. We are still good mates and I am looking forward to seeing him for the first time since I came to Cheltenham."
