Cheltenham bus wallet theft CCTV appeal success
Two teenagers have come forward after seeing a police appeal on social media site Twitter for information about a theft on the number 94 bus.
Yesterday, Thursday June 14, Gloucestershire Police released CCTV images of two people they wanted to speak to about the theft of £47 in cash from a wallet.
The money was stolen at around 7pm on Saturday May 26 after it had been left on the number 94 bus at the Promenade, Cheltenham.
Following the appeal, which was posted on the Constabulary’s Twitter and Facebook feeds, two 16-year-old girls, one from Hartpury and one from Cheltenham, attended Gloucester Police station and gave their details.
