A GRANDMOTHER sentenced to death in Bali for drug smuggling is expected to appeal against her sentence tomorrow.

Lindsay Sandiford, who lives in Cheltenham, was caught smuggling more than £1m of cocaine into the country from Bangkok last May.

Sandiford's appeal is being paid for from public donations after the Foreign Office refused to pay for her lawyer.

The 56-year-old faces death by firing squad.
