Cheltenham regrouped from the restart and after 14 minutes, Cheltenham hit back with Mark Whitney getting the try and Josh Herbert adding the conversion.

High Wycombe used their bigger pack to good effect, pushing the home pack back, and number nine Lee Harding grabbed an unconverted try. The game swung again with Cheltenham's centre Adam Dobie scoring a well-worked unconverted try.

Cheltenham extended their lead to 19-8 with evergreen winger Richard Morris showing a good turn of pace for the try, Herbert adding the extras.

High Wycombe reduced the deficit to 19-13 when Craig Smith capitalised on a Cheltenham defensive error for an unconverted try. With 53 minutes played, Cheltenham extended their lead through winger Harrison Sayer's try and Herbert's conversion made it 26-13.

Cheltenham continued to maintain the upper hand and after good work by the home pack, Morris rounded a tiring Wycombe defence for a his second try, but the conversion was off target. Cheltenham's Dobie sealed a good match in the 67th minute with his second try and Herbert added the conversion.

Cheltenham completed a good afternoon's work with number eight Christopher Tuck snaffling a try late.

Herbert landing his fourth conversion to complete a win, with a trip to lowly Newbury Blues coming up this weekend.
