Cheltenham singer needs help for stardom
A Cheltenham singer is appealing to residents to help her reach the final of an X Factor style competition.
Camilla Lewington, a make-up artist at Cavendish House, has reached the semi-finals of the Retail Trust's Search For A Star talent contest.
The competition is open to all employees in the retail sector.
For the last four weeks fans of Camilla's soulful voice have been texting in their votes to show their support.
Now she is urging people to make her life-long dream come true.
The 26-year-old soul singer was one of 100 to be picked from around the country and is hoping to beat the 50 other contesters to win the title.
Camilla said: "I am absolutely desperate to be in the final and I want to thank everybody for all their support over the last four weeks. I need one final push to get votes in and hopefully I will get through."
The promising young star has already played a highly prominent role in this year's Christmas lights switch-on at Bath Road.
