"He is 15-year-old and never been in trouble before."

Defending Dermot Clarke said: "He was very open in police interview. He is not particularly mature and was left at home with access to pornography and the event occurred because of that.

"It's a difficult matter to sentence bearing in mind the aged of the injured party. He has a strong relationship with his mother and a strong family around him."

Judge William Hart told the boy it was a very serious because of the victim's age.

He said: "You are a young man who has had a very difficult background, particularly over the last few years.

"Normally someone who commits an offence of this nature goes to custody and if you do it again it will happen.

The judge gave him a two year rehabilitation order and added: "It is intended to help you and everyone is trying to do that. You may not release the extent of your problems now."
