Children dress to impress in Longlevens as favourite book characters
FAVOURITE book characters were celebrated at Chestnut Nursery in Longlevens ahead of the children centres 10th anniversary.
Children and staff dressed up as their best loved characters from a huge selection of books and also took part in reading sessions with staff.

The Gruffalo proved to be a popular choice, with Pocahontas, a ladybird, Robin Hood and Maid Marion also making an appearance.
Nursing manager Becki Wray said: "Everyone got into the spirit and loved dressing up.
