Children play games to raise cash for hospital
TOP trumps were the topic of the latest Guildhall fundraiser helping sick children at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and support a film festival this summer.
Children aged seven to 13 were invited to pit their wits against each other in the popular card game, with profits going to the GRH children's centre.
Players pick a random card and compare statistics with their opponent. Organiser Stuart Mulrain hopes to pass on his hobby to his own children.
"My favourite set is the James Bond series," he said. "There is a certain amount of nostalgia with the game but I still play it now."
