Christmas Recycling Campaign
Over the Christmas period most households triple their waste or more. Some councils do not take corrugated cardboard making this a huge problem over the Christmas period.
What a perfect time to show children the importance of recycling!

“Dave_t10 - because it is bulky, difficult to transport with other recyclables, most houses may not have recyclable quality, and cost of collection and transport far exceeding any savings in landfill costs or returns from sale - will make excellent fuel in the waste to energy plant if shredded. Not all recycling benefits the environment but many take it as a religious ritual at any cost.”

“Why do the local council not collect cardboard from the doorstep?
If they were serious about tackling recycling then surely they would address this.”
