HEAD teachers must still get ever so slightly nervous before a visit from the Ofsted inspectors.
Having a team in to monitor the work carried out by staff must be daunting but at the same time, their role is necessary to help develop schools.
These inspections are also vital to provide a recognised benchmark which parents can refer to and understand when choosing a school for their children.
So it is great to see Elmbridge Junior School receiving the top grade when it comes to elements of its work – in particular behaviour and children's safety.
