IT is fair to say that today's story on Heather Frost will split opinion among our readers.

Some will support the move to ensure Heather and her family receive the best possible housing available to them, others may well be a little less sympathetic.

After all, 11 children is an awful lot, particularly when she is asking the State to support her brood in her new home.

As we know, the Government is currently bringing in the Bedroom Tax which will see council house tenants being told to pay more for their spare rooms.

It has been introduced, albeit controversially, in a bid to slash £500m a year in housing benefit and yet here we are building a special new home for one woman to cater for her massive family.

We wish Heather and her youngsters all the best in her new home, but at the same time questions will be asked as to whether this is the best use of public money.

IN a cone, wrapped up, with a dollop of ketchup or with a pickled egg – how do you eat your chips?

Admit it, the smell of salt and vinegar soaked paper enveloping a portion of golden fish and chips is one of life's pleasures and, as they say, a little of what you fancy does you good.

Yes, we know that a trip to the chippy should not be an everyday event – we have our waistlines to think about – but a local fryer is a street corner tradition we should still celebrate, not denigrate.

WORK experience really can unlock a future career if tackled with the right enthusiasm. The new business scheme with the university is a fantastic way for firms to meet future employees and to keep real talent in the county.

“Best way to get yourself noticed hey! Front page of the paper, BBC news, TV. Not being funny but why the **** is someone like this getting praised?? and getting a house FREE with good old tax payers money!!!! Hello does Jobless not mean anything in this day and age? So she doesnt contribute and never will contribute to paying towards tax but she gets given this!!! Its not summit to be proud of having 11 kids and she cant even afford her own home let alone pay for em cause she relys on all us hard working earners to fund her lifestyle!!!!! what the **** is wrong with tewkesbury Borough council agreeing with this, they seem to make it look like they agree with people scaving benefits!!!! and not actually gettin a job like normal people! What a waste of money when normal working class people cant afford to buy their own home, but have to opt for what they can and what their budget allows.... BENEFITS ARE THERE TO HELP THOSE WHO NEED SUPPORT, NOT SUBSIDISE A LIFESTYLE THAT MOST PEOPLE PAYING FOR THEM COULD NOT AFFORD. If she cant afford to house her own kids then she shouldnt be allowed to have them!! you are SCUM!!!!!!”

“No! unanimous verdict - see the other post - breeding in such numbers on social security is anti-social. No mention who the father is or fathers are and whether he/they are gainfully employed to support the brood.”
