City MP attacks lack of plan on benefits

“Let's see, the Tory led government are sacking soldiers just as it's all kicking off in Africa the soldiers being dumped on the dole queue to face a job market with high unemployement, reduced benefits if they don't get a job, reduced access to health care as the NHS faces a funding and mis-managment crisis, chaos in the education system for their kids and....it's all somebody else's fault! Of course, these problems effects everyone and not just the soldiers

Due to these failures this Tory led coalition government are raising the debt to £600 billion, the same as Labour proposed. " A YouGov poll commissioned by Policy Exchange around the time of last year's budget finds that just 16 per cent realise that debt is going up." This is a fact Tory MP Mr Graham fails to mention, I wonder why?”

“The Government have said all along that less than 1% is fraud.
However, what REALLY winds up everryone from all parties, is the people too fat to work, those with so many children that make a puppy farm look legal, and those that claim everything that moves......with the lily livered liberals bending over backwards to pay them.
We ALL need to reign in our spending, and as the US experiment hasn't worked, they have come round to the same conclusion as the rest of Europe.

“I don't think the cuts as described here are unreasonable however it should be a lot more difficult for the benefits system to be abused. If we didn't just throw money away on those who didn't require help we could spend more on those who did.

Apart from the abusers there's all the nanny benefits that do nothing to encourage people to become self sufficient. I don't think there would be many that would disagree with limiting child benefit to the first three children. And there are many other benefits that could be chopped in a similar fashion. If you choose a certain lifestyle - you pay for it!

As for Labour, their future voters must have short memories!”

“I think current Tory policies have attacked the vunerable and poor unfairly, first they whip up resentment for those receiving benefits by citing the few that abuse benefits (and it is really a small minority) and then make cuts for everyone else then blame Labour.

If the young are now paying the price it's because of you and your government today Mr Graham!”
