Clean-sweep for Evans on debut
EAST Glos tennis coach Steve Evans enjoyed a winning international debut as England retained the Four Nations Veterans Trophy at the Bolton Arena.
Evans won all five of his matches, three singles and two doubles for the England Over-55s men who won their division by the narrowest of margins – one rubber over the Scots who had defeated them on day one.
And their success helped England to win the overall trophy, winning three of the six divisions.
