Children from Bishop's Cleeve Primary School enjoyed a fun-filled few days to mark the end of their Christmas holidays.

Playmates after school club runs from the community centre in the village to entertain children while busy parents are at work.

Tim Greenslade, who runs the scheme alongside Emma Toogood, said: "We just do all that we can to keep them from being bored."

The children had the opportunity to paint, draw, play with toys and even took turns battling it out on the Nintendo Wii.

The club runs from 7am to 7.45am and 3.15pm to 6pm during the school term and also throughout school holidays.

Tim said: "Bishop's Cleeve Primary School is supposed to go back on Thursday so that is why the holiday club has gone on a little longer."

The club was closed yesterday due to the snow.
