'Clever' scam warning for Gloucester residents
A CLEVER scam letter is doing the rounds in Gloucester.
Janet Ruck, of Fleming Close, in Longlevens, was not fooled though.
The envelope looks handwritten, as if it were sent from a friend. The advert inside is designed to look like it is a page torn out of a magazine – complete with a 'friend's' handwriting on a note at the top.
It is advertising the 'most powerful anti-wrinkle' treatment.

“Scam or creative marketing?
TiG you missed a trick here. You should have added one of your own anti wrinkle ads rather than one for carpet cleaning... *Oh the irony*”
