More young people are to be recognised for their hard work, as the deadline for the first ever Gloucestershire Apprenticeships Awards has been extended.

The Citizen, Gloucestershire Echo, Stroud Life newspapers and thisisgloucestershire.co.uk have teamed up with the county’s leading companies and training providers.

The awards, in association with Gloucestershire-based electrical contractor Clarkson Evans, offer businesses 12 categories to choose from.

A gala awards evening will be held at The Centaur, Cheltenham racecourse, on April 4 attended by a VIP.

The Gloucestershire Apprenticeships Awards 2012 follow the overwhelming success of previous apprenticeship campaigns run by The Citizen and Echo.
