The 30th anniversary of the Gloucester and Oxford Cliff Richard fan club has been celebrated recently
While Sir Cliff himself would no doubt have preferred Mistletoe and Wine, the revellers had to make do with a giant cake served up with a medley of Cliff songs from all the ages.
The club, which prides itself in being Sir Cliff's oldest official fan club in the land invited a number of local radio DJ's to join in with the fun.
BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Pete Wilson was wired for sound as he introduced a number of hit singles.
Club president William Hooper was honoured that the club had been in Cliff's shadows for so long.
"Cliff fans are extremely loyal to him and they are a great bunch of people," he said. "Lots of life-long friendships have been made through being in the Fan Club.
"Sir Cliff is the Ultimate Pop Star, 50 years on, and I am proud to have run this club for 30 of those years."
Some of the party-goers danced until the early hours of the morning to the sound of their idol's hits.

Mike Longley had the Sunday afternoon show on Severn Sound, when the station started in 1980.
Christopher Musk had the weekly mid-morning show for 10 years on Severn Sound.
John Hellings has had shows on Severn Sound, Supergold and BBC Radio Gloucestershire now.
Pete Wilson has a current show on Sunday afternoon on BBC Radio Gloucestershire.”
