Countryfile star Fogle on mind-bender in Stow
TV adventurer Ben Fogle was hospitalised on Friday night after a pub trip to Gloucestershire.
The 39-year-old star of BBC show Animal Rescue was fuming after his drink was spiked in a Stow-on-the-Wold pub and he began hallucinating, he claims.
He says he 'flipped' as he was putting his children to bed and tried to jump out of the window before being restrained by his wife.
After his ordeal, Mr Fogle tweeted: "Whoever spiked my drink with mind altering drugs and put me in A&E with a psychotic fit - did you think of the damage you would cause?"

“Which pub? What do the police say? Hospital comment? (See BBC website!) Half a story. Again.”

“I wonder if these so called journalists on TiG have actually been educated or just little boy's and girls dragged off the street?
This sort of irresponsible headlining puts me off from buying the paper”

“Countryfile star Fogle on mind-bender in Stow" - Yet another pathetic headline, just like the "taxi driver grabs girls arm" which was an attempted abduction/rape of a child! How SICK is that?
I doubt this was just some 'random' spiking - more likley a perverted male!”

“Not often I agree with you Matt but on this one definitely. The actions of some really do make you wonder.”

“Unnecessary headline, TiG. This seems to be serious incident, and your headline is somewhat out of order.
Never met Ben Fogle, but he seems a nice chap, and certainly doesn't deserve to have this happen to him - although nobody does.
Little chance of catching the spiker. Wonder how they'd like it if somebody did it to them...?”
