Countryfile visits Five Valleys
CELEBRITY presenters put alternative transport in the spotlight when they visited the Five Valleys.
BBC TV Countryfile presenter Matt Baker tried an electric bicycle, while co-presenter Ellie Harrison met donkeys which deliver shopping.

Paul Moir, director of Rococo Gardens and one of the garden's electric bikes for hire which Matt Baker rode.
Matt, who fronts the prime time rural affairs show, cycled from historic Painswick Rococo Garden to Bisley on an electrically-assisted bicycle, and Ellie who is originally from Horsley, filmed the famous Chalford donkeys.
The features are expected to be shown on BBC1 on Sunday, March 4.
Rococo Garden boss Paul Moir took One Show presenter Matt out for a spin on one of the £1,300 bikes which visitors can hire for £25 a day or £10 an hour.
"Countryfile did some filming at the garden and then we set off with Matt Baker towards Bisley where we met up with Stroud Cycling Club," said Paul, who bought the bikes so non-cycling visitors aren't put off by the Five Valleys steep climbs.
"The cycling club challenged us to a race up a hill and I have to be honest, we left them standing – the bikes are amazing."
Countryfile draws in up to 6.3million viewers and Five Valleys fans of the show also spotted former Sir William Romney School, Tetbury pupil Ellie, in Chalford.
She is understood to have visited the Chalford Donkey Project, which employs the animals to deliver shopping around the village's narrow lanes, just as they did until the 1950s.
Ellie and the crew popped in to the Lavender Bakehouse and Coffee Shop, not to film but to pick up food to keep them going for a long day's shooting last Friday. Mr Moir said he was delighted the electric bikes will be showcased on national television. "It's something we decided to do in the autumn, after putting in circular walks," said Mr Moir, a keen cyclist himself.
"We have had good interest at this early stage but you do have to pedal as well."

“I watched this program with great interest as I love that part of the country and cycled the almost identical route on my own electric bike last month. I thought at the time it would be quite interesting to see how much faster I would be vs a conventional bike! It was fun to see the race. I've got a Volt electric bike, but I'm guessing all the high end bikes perform pretty similarly now, so hooray to electric bikes getting such good publicity.”
