Paul Knight will skipper Gloucestershire in tomorrow's clash with Cornwall
Gloucestershire are narrowly ahead on a superior point's difference and their coach, Mark Cornwall, knows what is at stake for his side if they beat last year's finalists in the home comforts of the Forest of Dean tomorrow.
He said: "This Saturday's game will be the battle of all battles. The winner will take all, so we know it's going to be tough.
"You can look at past results this season and say we have the edge, but I think really it's going to be about what happens on the day.
"I don't think you can read anything into the results so far. I'm just thinking about this team and getting my players fit and ready for the match."
So far, Cornwell's men have brushed aside Somerset 60-15 away from home and triumphed 37-3 over Devon at Kingsholm, while Cornwall beat Somerset 38-0 and Devon 33-25.
If the county lift the trophy this year under Cornwell they will equal Lancashire's record of 19 wins, but recently they have struggled to taste success.
They last reached the final in 2004 and have not won it since 2002, but Cinderford coach Cornwell believes they have the talent to bring the trophy back to Gloucestershire again.
"I've lived in Gloucestershire for most of my life and certainly I have kept a close eye on what's going on in the county for the past five years or so," he said.
"I've always thought the talent has been here, but over the past couple of years things haven't been working.
"We've made some small changes and it has been those changes that have made a significant difference to this squad."
Cinderford boast a large contingent of players in the squad with the Foresters' skipper Paul Knight leading the side.
