“Accept that all governments tinker with the figures! (Trying to be apolitical here) The last government did exactly the same by creating thousands of non- jobs at the public expense.”

“Glad I'm not the only one who is sceptical about these figures. One only has to look at the miniscule jobs section in this paper to realise that we're hardly in the middle of a boom. I suspect that a lot of job seekers are having to accept part time work as a compromise hence the supposed improvement in the statistics.”

“TiG appear to have listened to the voice of the people on the sleazy 'dating' ads, and they are no more. At the least the line is not a dot to them yet...”

“Can TiG define the term 'Jobs'?
Are they full time jobs or are pseudo jobs of only a few hours a week(created to jiggle the books0 included?
How about it TiG? Have you totalled the hours and then divided by 40 (or even 35) to come up with a more worthwhile evaluation of the employment scene?”

“Rubbish. Total lies by the Government to make people believe that things are better than they are.
Less people out of worth? Absolute *******. The so called figures are welcomed by whom exactly? Oh yeah i know. The very people who produce these false figures & those fools who believe that everything they are told by those in power is correct.
Which it isnt.
I suggest TiG that you get yourselves down to the job centre & see just how many people are in their every day.
Then you will realise that you are being given false information by the government.
As for the cheap tart adverts - get rid of them please.”

“WOOOOOO yeahhhh
only 10,016 to go!
If you want the figure to really go down then you should have a look at employment agencies, as they are the reason why so many places don't hire any more.”
