Crash affects arrivals to Gloucester 10K race
A car which smashed into a street light caused problems ahead of the Gloucester 10K race this morning.
The vehicle hit the light at the traffic light junction at Park Road and Trier Way.

The incident happened around 8am and police cordoned off the area while the vehicle was removed from the scene.
Gloucester Rugby prop Nick Wood, who sounded the starting horn at the nearby race, was among those who found it difficult to get to the site because of the accident.
