Cream tea celebration for Alistair
FOR 14 years, Alistair Cheadle has been at the helm of Cheltenham's Holy Trinity School.
Now he is looking forward to a more restful life as he bids staff and pupils farewell at the end of term and enjoys his retirement.

Scores of families packed into the school grounds for a surprise party, which featured traditional cream teas.
Co-head teacher, Alison Tugwell, said: "It was a huge success and a wonderful way to celebrate everything Alistair has achieved. We managed to keep it a surprise until the day before. It really was a lovely celebration."

Parent Deb Shannon said: "He has made a big impact on the school and its development."
A new co-head teacher will be appointed after the summer holidays.
After its last Ofsted inspection, Holy Trinity was found to be a good school with some outstanding features.

“Mr Cheadle is a wonderful headmaster and will be sorely missed by parents as well as his pupils, he has done a wonderful job and is both caring, patient and understanding in all aspects of school life.”
