Creative Cotswold: What is it like to be in Year 9?
WHAT is it like to be in Year 9?
This week we interviewed three Year 9s in a follow-up to our column last month called: "What is it like to be in Year 8?".
We asked these simple questions to several pupils:
Do you get more homework compared to Years 7 & 8?
Livvy Cowan told us: "We don't get more homework, but the pieces we have to do are a bit harder."
While Joe Rosborugh said: "The homework was easy to start with, but will probably get harder as we go through the year.
"However, I honestly don't want it to get any harder."
Is it much different to previous years?
Livvy had also told us that it is not much different apart from choosing subjects for GCSEs and more exams.
What is it like? (Fun, exciting, boring etc).
"It's good and exciting and you also get to try out more opportunities, which is a good thing to do to get more new friends," Livvy told us.
Do you get bigger advantages now that you're in Year 9?
Charlie Coulter said: "Yes, you do.
"You get the advantage of using the canteen as a common room, which is much bigger and spacious for the amount of Year 9s there are at the school."
Overall, we get the impression that the present Year 9s are enjoying their time at The Cotswold School, while the year lasts.
Let's hope that they enjoy Year 10 as well.
