Cyclist condition improving following crash
A CYCLIST involved in an accident in Cheltenham yesterday is improving.
The condition of the man, who was in a crash with a lorry in Sandford Mill Road, is no longer life threatening, although his injuries are still said to be potentially life changing. He had been airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol by paramedics following the collision.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, which happened at 3.30pm. The road was closed for a number of hours while the emergency services worked at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not spoken to police should contact 101, quoting incident 264 of October 1.
