Cyclist seriously injured after fall near Tetbury

Police are appealing for information after a 63 year old man was seriously injured after he came off his bicycle in Westonbirt.

The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Monday February 25 on Bowldown Road.

The man from Malmesbury was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon before being transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, with potentially life-threatening head injuries.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who can help them with their inquiries to establish how the man sustained his injuries.
