Deaf race night is a winner for charity

A race night last Friday helped to bring in almost £1,500 for the Gloucestershire Deaf Association.

The charity is hoping to raise £5,500 to pay for new laptop equipment to help young deaf people with employment skills training.

Chief executive Jenny Hopkins said: "Everyone had a wonderful time."

The charity wants to buy laptops to help deaf children learn skills needed for future employment.
