Debate on controversial Five Acres site
THE FUTURE of a site at the centre of controversy will be up for debate.
Forest of Dean District Council will hold an evidence gathering day as part of its inquiry into the Five Acres site on Thursday, October 25 from 10am until 9pm at Lakers School.
The complex in Berry Hill, Coleford was bought up by the Homes and Communities Agency when the Royal Forest of Dean College there merged with Gloucestershire College.
Bosses of the Gloucester-based college want to build a new campus at Cinderford's Northern Quarter. Campaign group Five Acres is Not For Sale (FANS) will be putting forward their findings from a recent consultation event it held.
