Derby action if weather holds on Boxing Day
THE wet weather played havoc with the pre-Christmas football and rugby fixture schedules.
Forest Green Rovers and Gloucester City saw their games at Woking and at home to Guiseley respectively fall foul of waterlogged pitches.
Only one game beat the downpours in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South and West, with all of the Gloucestershire teams given a day off.
All of our Southern League teams are due to be in action on Boxing Day, for a card of traditional derby fixtures.
