Dig at Old Crypt schoolroom finds what could human bones
HUMAN bones may have been discovered under the Old Crypt Schoolroom in Southgate Street.
An archaeological dig at the site in Gloucester also discovered evidence of another older building.

Volunteers have finished a dig there under the supervision of Avon Archaeological Unit.
They also found pottery dating from Roman times to post medieval.

The dig was done ahead of the site being turned into a Christian heritage centre.
Project manager Rachel Court said: "They had a fantastic time and didn't find anything that will hold up the project which is good news."
