Double appointment at Tayntons law firm
Gloucestershire law firm Tayntons LLP has appointment two new solicitors.
Nicholas Southwell joins as a civil litigation solicitor and Richard Thomas is a wills and probate specialist with over twenty years of private client experience.

In his new role at Tayntons, Mr Southwell will be drawing on his extensive property and corporate and commercial litigation experience, and working with consultant solicitor Martin Edden to spearhead new litigation work for the practice.
Prior to Tayntons, Nicholas trained with Hampshire practice Verisona Solicitors & Advocates before joining Lyons Davidson three years ago.
Mr Thomas has in-depth expertise in wills and probate work, handling all nature of succession, taxation and IHT issues, estate administration and laws of intestacy cases.
Initially working in the world of surveying, Richard changed career and qualified as a solicitor in 1988. Prior to joining Tayntons, he worked at Whitemans in Gloucester and Addison O’Hare in the Midlands.
Tayntons’ managing partner, Andrew Ollerenshaw, said: “We are delighted to announce these appointments and welcome Nicholas and Richard on board. They both bring a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge to the practice and will add further depth and breadth to the services we offer. They will be great assets to the team.”
Mr Southwell and Mr Thomas are now based in Tayntons’ Clarence Street office in Gloucester as part of the 60-strong team.
