Police appeal after driver forced off road and into hedgerow
A WOMAN who was driving her car into Lydbrook yesterday has been treated for whiplash after being forced off the road and into a hedgerow.
The incident happened on Church Road at around 8.10am.

She was driving her silver Kia down the hill when a silver saloon car appeared on the wrong side of the road driving towards her.
It has been described as the straight stretch of road just past the bends and the church as you come into the village.
The victim was said to have taken evasive action and drove into a hedgerow.
She was later treated for whiplash and dizziness.
The driver of the offending vehicle failed to stop at the scene and continued on.

“Or perhaps it was some idiot male driver. Head in the clouds dreaming he was at brands hatch taking on Lewis Hamilton. Or texting/phoning his bird to make sure his dinner was going to be on the table the second he screeched up the drive”

“Ah right, so there was 'a car on the wrong side of the road' so she drove into a hedge?
It couldn't possibly be that she wasn't concentrating or was putting her lipstick on or was thinking of knitting or kittens the way that women do?
Women - know your limits.”

“From the description I cant tell where it happened, I know the road very well, generally people comming up the hill on the corner by the Church take it on the wrong side of the road, this causes problems for people coming down the hill, it is narrow at this point.”
