Duck stuck in chimney
A STUCK duck has been rescued by fire crews.
An emergency call was received at 8am yesterday from a member of the public who had a bird stuck in the chimney.
An appliance from Coleford Station was mobilised with five fire fighters to attend the animal emergency near the Courtfield Arms, Lower Lydbrook.
On arrival, crews managed to rescue the duck which was stuck behind the chimney breast.

Luckily the bird was uninjured and within 20 minutes crews had released it back onto the river bank.
