E-fit of parrot theft suspect released
Police have released an e-fit image of a man who may have crucial information about the theft of a parrot from a house in Tredworth.
Jasper, an African grey parrot, was taken from his cage, along with his blanket, from an address in Hanman Road some time in the afternoon of Wednesday September 12.

Jasper's owner, a 61-year-old woman, suffered a heart attack when she returned home to discover the loss of the bird. She was treated at Bristol Hospital and later discharged.
During house to house inquiries by police a neighbour reported seeing two south east Asian men close to the house that afternoon.

“Maybe stolen to order? Just seems odd, when they could have taken tv, jewellery etc worth more and much less effort.”
