Edmonds 'fine' after injury scare
NIGEL Davies has allayed injury fears surrounding Australian hooker Huia Edmonds.
The 31-year-old front-rower was knocked out cold trying to tackle Sale centre Sam Tuitupou in the second-half of Saturday's 29-3 Gloucester victory.

INJURY SCARE: Huia Edmonds
The former Brumbies and Wallabies man was given lengthy on-field treatment, before being taken from the field on a stretcher.
Relieved Gloucester boss Davies revealed Edmonds sustained no serious damage, and was up and about quickly afterwards in the Kingsholm changing rooms.

While the free-running forward will probably miss out on Sunday's Saracens clash, Davies said he is not expected to be out for much longer than that.
Gloucester's rugby director explained: "Huia was just knocked out, he was fine pretty quickly afterwards, watching the Australia game in the changing rooms.
"That's a good boost, he put his body on the line to make a tackle, and because of that he was knocked out.
"It's not going to be serious, it might keep him out for a week or so, but no longer than that really."

“That is good news. The likes of him, the excellent Rupert Harden and Dan Murphy, i.e. the starting front row, absolutely mullered Sale. Harden was my man of the match.”
