Elderly couple survive car plunge
A COUPLE had a miraculous escape after plunging off Littledean Hill in their car yesterday.
The Nissan Almera rolled several times before coming to halt on its roof. An ambulance was following the car as it came off the road.
A man aged 81 and a woman in her 80s were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for assessments.
Spokesmen from the police and Great Western Ambulance Service said indications were they were not seriously hurt.
